Take your average American that eats burgers, fats and ice cream, and give them veggies and almost exclusively vegan diet and see what happens. I am excited for this new documentary. Get away from the genetically modified as well and get the local, organic veggies. Fruits, veggies, seeds (allergic to nuts and most seeds so my seeds are hemp, flax, sacha inchi) and grains. I try to keep that as my main meals. Tell me what you think. First, let’s look at the interview:

I challenge you to go vegan for six weeks. Can you try it and just cleanse your body. I believe in you. See how you children feel after eating more fruits, less dairy. My daughter has been off dairy since September and the changes are amazing. We supplement with calcium, of course, because she is growing. But she doesn’t miss it very often. I think she’s missed the organic yogurt squeezers a few times, but that is the only thing she’s really missed. Want to give it a go?

Organic Brew
So what sort of miracle does my husband want for Easter? It’s an Organic Kolsch. Wikipedia defineds Kölsch, also written Koelsch, as a local beer speciality brewed in Cologne, Germany. It is a clear beer with a bright straw-yellow hue, and it has a prominent, but not extreme, hoppiness. It is less bitter than the standard German pale lager. Furthermore,
Kölsch is warm fermented at a temperature around 13 to 21°C (55 to 70°F) and then cold-conditioned, or lagered.[1]
This manner of fermentation links Kölsch with some other beer styles of central northern Europe, such as the Altbiers of  northern Germany and the Netherlands.
My husband has started the process using organic grains and starting the mash process. Why organic? Why not? Wouldn’t you want to have your beer organic?
And he picked up his organic grains at The Beer Nut in his compostable bag, of course.
